Hello from Scotland

Was searching for the solution to an Elements problem I was having and found this site (and the answer). I also found lots of other helpful advice and friendly welcoming responses. So I couldn't help but join!

I'm Allan and I live in the North East of Scotland; I've been taking photographs for years but have only made the switch to digital in the past 18 months so I'm currently struggling up the steep Elements learning curve which is why I found this site so useful.
