I've known for a while that you have to read posts -- even those that don't seem to hold your interest -- otherwise you'll miss out on some neat postings and pictures because they show up everywhere.

Carol -- it is easy to get confused using the date/time of last post in each forum -- I had to do that for a while and I didn't like it -- I much prefer that the FLAGS BEHAVE ALL THE TIME.

I use the "View Posts Since Last Visit" button at the top of the forums page, instead of the little flags. But I have to admit that as the forum is growing larger and larger (and that's a GOOD thing), I'm having trouble reading everything, every day. I sometime pick and choose, if I'm in a time crunch. Used to be easier!

I'm with you Linda!! And the other day the option to view posts since last visit wasn't there and I couldn't figure out what was going on.........that is until I tried to go into the subscriber area and realized I wasn't signed in!! (I had deleted my cookies so the forum didn't recognize me and I'm so used to it being automatic that I didn't notice!!)

Sometimes there may be a slight hiccup with your internet connection whilst you are on the forum ... and that can delete all the orange flags. It happened to me the other day and I'm sure I missed some messages :(

I find it difficult to keep up when i have been away.....so if anyone has posted a question to me and i haven't answered it is not because I am ignoring you but simply because I missed it. sorry
