While this note certainly is not directly related to Adobe Photoshop Elements it is to all my great friends I have made and will make through Elements. May you all have a very Merry Christmas or a Joyous celebration in what ever fashion you honour this time of the year.

Every year Doreen and I send out a Christmas Card (http://web.mac.com/fromaway/Christmas/Card.html) along with gifts , music and a yearly note. Please click on the link ad then find all the hidden goodies. Turn up you speakers and enjoy! Peace and happens to all.

Oh, Grant, that is the most wonderful holiday greeting! You've created a thing of real beauty. I/ve always loved the Yes, Virginia letter and while I had heard of the Christmas at the Front story, I had never read it before. What a tremendous selection of texts and music. I take it that Doreen sang in the choral group before your move?

I wish you and yours a very happy Christmas in your new home...

Grant, that is one of the most beautiful Christmas greetings that I have seen. It sounds like you are having a wonderful transition to Nova Scotia.

Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year to you and the family.

Yes the music is from the choir Doreen sang in for 25 years. They have made a number of recored, tape, and CD that we did the art work for. The quire started in our living room as a pick up group that sang madrigals on warm summer days. In the early days there was lots of music, lots of Sangria and needless to say lots of fun. When they decided to go "Pro" I stepped back and just listened and admired.

This looks like such a beautiful card Grant has given us but I'm missing out. I can't get the music to play...

I just had my computer cleaned out so I'm wondering if I didn't put something important back that would enable me to hear the music. (I do have sound normally) Can anyone help??

Hi Pat ...

I had a similar problem ... I changed filebrowser to Firefox and could hear the music perfectly using that :)

Hi Grant & All,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to one and all. I have been away and will be away next week. I therefore have not had much time to spend in the Village. Once January settles in, things should calm down and it will be a time for new beginnings.

Grant, that was a great card. As I get more and more e.cards I am thinking of getting a electronic picture frame. That way I could display them along side of the traditional cards that line most flat surfaces in my condo this time of year.

Cheers,

Bob

Missing music ... not sure what to say! The tunes are in the M4a format the same that run on iTunes. So ... if your computer can run iTunes it should be able to play the music, if not it is a browser problem.

Sorry you are not picking up the music as i think it is a crucial part of the cards.

Merry Christmas

Grant - I've read many of your contributions over the couple of years I've been dabbling in this forum. I hope to spend more time here because the support you and others provide.

A beautiful card, with beautiful sentiments and lovely music. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy a wonderful peaceful Christmas in Nova Scotia.

I just tried to look for anything by your old choral group on Itunes, but there was nothing there. It really is lovely music. Do you know where I could get it?

Grant -

...

It really is lovely music. Do you know where I could get it?

I don't believe the CDs are available through iTunes. There are links on each of our Christmas pages back to the John Laing Singers website where there is at least an email address you can use to get in contact with the choir. Failing that send me an email and I can get you a copy of their latest.

Grant a well done card. The best of the season to you and your family.
I only wish that the leaders we elect would read the WWI Christmas Armistice.
Perhaps then they would understand that we weren't meant to kill each other.
