This problem gave me hours of frustration yesterday. The pictures go from my pc to my flash drive fine. Plug it into the printer (HP D7360). It tells me I have so many pictures but won't show the thumbnail or print them. Or...it will randomly show one or two (out of like 20) and print and recognize only them.
The files are all about the same. Made wrappers for large candy bars. Have printed out 5. A couple weren't recognized the first couple tries.
I tried HP support on line. No luck.
Any help? as I'm about nuts with this.
Also tried a different flash drive.

This is strange.
Nancy had a problem with her digital photo frame not recognizing jpegs that she had used save for web on. Possibility???

Kimh, just out of curiosity, what's the reason for downloading to a flash drive vs. just cabling the printer directly to the computer on which you're doing your editing? Hooked up to different computer?

Gary-I changed the format to tiff and it worked (alleluia!!). I'm thinking maybe some of the files were saved in jpeg baseline (they worked) vs. jpeg optimized (they didn't work). That is all I can think of.
Chuck-space is an issue and I wanted a photo printer separate from the computer. Wanted it for some photo projects.
Thanks and Merry Christmas.
Will let you know if I get hung up again:)

Kimh, that makes sense. I have an HP printer that's been sitting in a box for months, partly because there's no room for it in my office. I should look to see if it has the standalone USB/card reader function you're using. Thanks!
