Error message with Elem. 5.0.2 won't run

I am trying to run Photoshop Elements 5.0 (upgraded to 5.0.2 for vista). When I try to open program I get 3 error messages and then it shuts down. They are:
1 "Could not load the Fastcore routines module because the file is not found"
2 "Could not load the MMX module because the file is not found"
3 "Could not load multi-processor support"

I am running Vista with an Intel Duo Core processor.
I have tried loading the program several times always with the anti virus off.
I would really like to start using this program, does anyone have any help?
