Where is the 'Line Tool'?

I am putting together a slide show and I wish to have an arrow or line pointing to an area or city on a map. Apparently there is supposed to be a 'line tool' that will do that for me but I cannot locate it. It is not in the vertical tool bar on the left side of the editor. Any suggestions?
