I am using PE 6 with an Epson 2200 printer. When I first open PE6 I get a message "Monitor Profile 'Dell 2005FPW color profile' appears to be defective. Please rerun your monitor calibration software". I have inserted the CD that I got with the monitor and it loads the driver. Is this different than the profile?

Question 2; regards the error message when I send picture to printer;
"Some postscript specific settiings (interpolation, calibration, encoding, will be ignored sine you are printing to a non-postscript printer". I had no problem with PE5 wither either the monitor nor the printer which are the same!!! I have read manuals and have reset Dell monitor to factory settings, and am at my wits end.

Any help or directions would be greatly appreciated. :confused::confused:

Hi ...

I honestly don't have a clue about the first problem but the second one is just telling you that the printer may not be able to use all the info that is in the printing command.

Mine gives that message too and I just ignore it ... :)

Hi Wendy, when I just ignore that message, my print comes out way too dark. I've started a new thread because my prints are unacceptable and I have a whole album waiting in the wings to be printed. This is so frustrating!
