I have been thinking of upgrading since the new laptop is Vista and PSE 3 doesnt work with it. I walked into the local Staples today and PSE6 is onsale for $69.99 until the 22 of Dec. The real clincher was the $20 mail in rebate on top of that. Total price $49.99 :)

What is the difference between 4 and 6? Just curious.

KellyLynne,

I think you can access the videos in the Photoshop Elements 6.0 Learning Center (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/learningcenter/#elements3) without being a subscriber (the site isn't taking any new subscribers at this point). The single feature that looks like it might make an upgrade worth it is the Quick Selection. One thing worth considering is the appearance. Many people have complained about the dark background.

Pickup a copy at Staples to. Great deal. Now waiting for Scott Kelby's book on Photoshop Elements 6. This version seems allot snapier than Elements 3.

Yes much better than PSE3. I am also kind of liking my old nemesis, Organizer.

Take care and Happy Holidays, everyone.

The Staples in GA had Elements on sale last week for $49.00 which was a great deal. I had already bought Premier and Elements in a package deal for $69.00 the day after Thanksgiving. I like 6 but having to get use to a few changes made to the program, some good some bad. I love the new selection tool. One bad is trying to load actions that I had installed in five, its a bit different. But I'm sure I will get it worked out as soon as I have time to sit down figure it out.

Costco is showing it for $69.99 after a $10 instant rebate (taken at the register). This is bundled with OnOne Essentials 2, a nifty little package that includes some tools including some 500 frame effects. It's available separately for$40 or so.

Best buy also has it for $69.99 w/o the bundle, however it was marked $99 in the store and I asked to have it marked down to the online price which they did (that price may have been in the register anyway).
