To whomever it was that made the instructions on setting up a gallery Thank you, Thank you & Thank you. By opening two IE windows and following step by step your instructions I was able to take a raw image downsize it, convert to JPEG and post it in the gallery. For a 66 yoa rookie this is a big deal. If the other instructional videos are as great as this one then the investment to learn from them will be well utilized. :) Carl.

I have been giving some thought to opening a gallery. Could you print the instructions you were given. Then I could, at least, print them out, and have them if I make the decision. Just keep it in this thread and I'll find it. Thanks in advance.

Bob, I think Carl may be referring to the video instructions prepared by Mike Rodriguez (mrod) and found at the top of your screen under "How to Use the Forums". That will always be there for you to refer to when you do start your gallery.

I've only looked at them once since they were placed there. Guess I had that reference all along. At my age I'm lucky to remember my way home.

I remember they are there, but not what's in them! I think the "How to Use the Forums" icon should be made to flash or something to get people's attention. It is such a wonderful resource...

Hey, just wanted to say thanks to you all for the kind comments. I'm glad they are helpful! Seeing (or reading about) light bulbs going off over peoples' heads is the lifeblood of a teacher. :)

Seriously, I think it's great you and your daughter get along so well. That's my hope for my relationship with my kids down the road a ways...
