I am a fairly new elements user. I know how to set web images as wallpaper on my desktop. I also know how to use my own photo's as wallpaper on my desktop. but what I would like to know is how to create my own custom wallpaper in elements with multiple images to fit my desktop.
Could someone direct me to maybe a tutorial on how to use multiple images to create your own custom wallpaper. Kind of like tiling a bunch of different photo's to create one .jpg image to use as a wallpaper on my desktop.
Thank you to anyone that can help.
Alan..

Here's a link to a link.

If you search the forum for the word collage you'll get lots of idea. Then post back with questions.
A tip I recently learned is to size your completed image to match the dimensions of your monitor, so you don't have any distortion. For instance, my monitor is 1680x1050 pixels. If you are a Windows user, you can check your monitor settings by right-clicking on the desktop, then choosing PROPERTIES, then click the SETTINGS tab. Your current screen resolution will display. Set your image to be in those dimensions.
Good luck!

Thanks, but the link supplied for the document is no longer good. It says the file can't be found...

- but specifically for this project
Open your document to fit the resolution of your monitor - as suggested above.
Open your first photo
select> all
edit> copy
Click on your collage document -
edit> paste
Select your move tool and the bounding box will appear - use the arrows to size and move your photo around until you like the size and position - click OK
The corner arrows reduce and enlarge in perspective (however in Elements 4 and below, you must hold the shift key while you use the corner)
Open each of your next photos
follow the copy/paste/move instructions above
save as jpg
There are drag and drop methods - there are keyboard shortcuts - but
a simple copy/paste into your new document will suffice for now.
Obviously, it will work better if you do your editing and resizing on each photo prior to copy/paste.
