I'm stuck! I've been messing around on this for past couple hours now and seen can't figure out what to do. Okay...I want to make a blend and I'm half way there except I'm having trouble blending the 2 pics into one. I know the next move is too add the mask layer except I can't figure out to do it! So if anyone could help me...I'd greatly appreciate it. :)
This is what I got so far...

Hi
To blend the two photos together drag the adjustment layer below the top layer and group it with the top layer. (move the cursor to just between the two layers while holding alt and when the cursor changes click)
Then click on the mask part of the adj layer. Then start painting with black and the other layers will show through.
Hope this gets you started.:)

Since PSE6 does not natively come with Layer Masks, I thought you may want to go this route.
First I undistorted both images, stretched them back out sideways. This made them overlap, which is desirable here.
I adjusted the hue on the left image to match the skies. Then, because I needed the Eraser tool, I duplicated Layer 2 (just to be safe in case of a mistake) and next erased so that the knee from the left picture would become visible. This could be done easier with a mask, but, see above.
Layers 4 through 7 are used for cloning and painting to achieve a nice transition from one image to the other. I like to do this on multiple layers, so the opacities can be changed as needed.
