Grief with PE 5.0.2

I have been using PE 5.0.2 with Vista for a while. I have it set to run as XP. All seemed okay until today when I tried to Apply another Effect, nada. I then tried to Select for a Feather edge and my Feather choice is grayed out. Only a few Effects seem to work :eek: No worries on the memory, etc. I've got lots!!!

Any thoughts?

When PSE starts acting flaky, it's time to reset preferences. As you start the editor, press and hold ctrl-alt-shift. You should get a dialog asking you if you want to delete the settings file. You do. If you didn't get the dialog, exit, and try again until you do.

Because of the extra windows before opening saying it can't do it or Allow to actually get in, this does not seem to be working :twisted: But I do thank you for trying!!!

This is not much fun anymore :(

My whole world is flaky it seems. The only thing that does pop up is an internet connection saying the page is not available.
