Auto Red Eye

I used the organiser for the first and last time the other day. I had it load all my images. Even though I turned off what I thought was all the auto fixes, PSE 6 decided that as it collected all my pictures it would correct all the red eye at the same time. I found later that it made a copy of these throughout my photo folders. I had hundreds of them.

I looked through all the preferences and all the auto stuff is unticked. Can I turn off this "feature" and can someone tell me why it is turned on by default.

It's in the Advanced Options in the Photo Downloader (you can find the icon to click for the Photo Downloader down in the Windows Task Bar). And no I can't explain why it would be turned on by default. First thing I did was turn it off. And I use the Organizer all the time for downloading and it works fine as long as you turn things like that off. Here's what the options look like:

Thank Tony I'll try to find it. I don't have the downloader in my task bar though, I hate it when a program wants to run at start up, I always turn those features off as well.

The photo downloader is in the "organizer" prefereces section.:)

Have a look in all the sections as there are a few "automatically repair redeye" checkboxes
