I just got a new Dell with PhotoShop Elements 6 installed. I have had it about 2 weeks and everything was so smooth and I love both. BUT-Now for some reason (not sure if I done something or not) but I get an error every single time I open Elements and then go to open a pic. I have uninstalled, reinstalled and so forth - Still same issue. (The error is:
PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe entry point not found) I am running Vista Home.
As I said, I am not sure what went wrong ... I think it may have been when I put my Camera Memory Card into my computer card reader. I am not certain though.
Can anyone help me please???

We might need a bit more information regarding the error message you're seeing but, in the meantime, you could try re-creating your preferences file. I don't know where it's stored in Vista, but search for "Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 Prefs.psp" and rename it (so you can get it back if re-creating the file doesn't solve the problem). When you start PSE6, it should create a new preferences file with defaults.

Thank You for your response. Here is the message and what happens: Open PSE6 go to file, open, click on a pic to open-this box comes up titled: PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe - Entry Point Not Found IN the box it has a red X and says ... The procedure entry point ?HiliteMenuItem@CNavigator@@AAEXXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library LXBMutil.dll
Thanks so much for ANY and ALL help!

Hmmm, do you have a Lexmark printer by any chance? If so, make sure you have the latest drivers installed - if you need help doing that, let me know.

Actually I do have a Lexmark printer. I did download and install the newest drivers, but I deleted the application itself. I will redownload and reinstall to be safe. I will let you know how that works. Thanks for all your help and time.
