I've subscribed to Elements feeds for quite some time and follow them in my blog reader. Can't tell you how much I've learned!

Am I right in assuming that ElementsVillage is fairly new and associated with recent changes in Adobe offerings?

Actually, Elements Village is the former Photoshop Elements Techniques forum which has been around for many years. Last month it was given a facelift in preparation for separation from the Photoshop Elements Techniques website which will be closing sometime next year. It is not (or was not) affiliated with Adobe.
