Hi: Well--so much for my last issue with email not being able to use Outlook and Adobe not knowing how to rectify the issue--so I decided to use the Adobe Email System (which I was able to use successfully way back when)--all went well -- they sent me a new code/password--I entered it when asked--everything seemed to be sent properly-an icon showing the email message going out appeared on my monitor and it looked as though the email was sent out to email-land--However I never received it--I tried this a dozen times sending emails to my home address as well as to others in my office--no one received anything--so--where did they go?---hmmmmm---very frustrating--anyone out there have any suggestions--I can no longer email any of my photos out, as attachments, as HTML format, etc----:(thanks for any advise -- RPS

Personally I rarely ever bother with the automatic emailers as it's just as easy to do it by manually attaching to an email. I either do it from the Editor by Saving for the Web, picking a size and quality suitable for emailing and saving into a folder I've set up for emailing pics. Then just attach it to an email. Alternatively for multiple images you can select them in the Organizer and then File>Export>As a New File. That lets you pick a File Type, pixel size and quality and lets you put them into a folder of your choice.

I appreciate the answer but is there no other way to have the email service from within working properly. I'll use either the MS Outlook(which I prefer) or Adobe Email Service--I tried running a Detect and Repair on MS Outlook 2003 but the same results occurred--I can now no longer send email from within the application--Yes-I can do as you suggested but there must be a way to use the Adobe app as intended---??????? ---hope someone out there can help--thanks--RPS

What do you do? It's been 3 to 6 days and still no resultes. I use Adobe email. I was just morning ang than it wasn't. I'm not smart to fix things...What do I need to do?

Tom & Robert,
I can't help you with the Adobe email problem. I use Tony's methods for that.
However, neither of you mentioned which versions of PSE or Windows you are using. That could be a critical point in figuring out what is happening.
You might want to consider adding that info to your signatures as many on this forum have done, then you don't have to remember to put it in your message.

I am experiencing the same issues with the Photoshop Elements email server using both PSE 4 and PSE 6.
I was using the Share -> Email function fine up until last week when it stopped working.
Because the feature previously worked and nothing has changed on my end I know the problem is with Adobe, but obviously I don't know where.
Also,
I used to manually attach the images by exporting them from PSE and then attaching them to the email but once I tried the Share -> Email function in PSE4 and PSE6 I realized how much more seamless the process was and used this funtion a lot. Yes, I can go back to exporting the images to email them but I'd rather use the Share -> Email function as it was intended.
Others out there that have used this function in the past. Can you try it out to verify that it is indeed not working?
Thanks,
Jeff

I'm with Robert Paul. I want to use the software as intended and it is much easier to stay within the program to email out instead of going through all the other steps. Will the answer be posted on this site? I run Windows XP and use Microsoft Outlook. Oh, I have Photoshop Elements 5 and Premiere Elements 3.0.

Sorry--I was using Photoshop Elements 5 when the issue started happening as well as MS XP Pro--I now use Photoshop Elements 6 ( I was hoping when I uninstalled 5 and installed 6 the issue would be resolved---unfortunately no such luck) --- hope we can get to the bottom of this---I have send 2 emails to Adobe --I've also tried searching the Help/Knowledge Files at MicroSoft Outlook and Windows with no results--I'll keep you posted ---Have a Happy New Year --RPS

I was perusing the adobe site the other day and a few people had reported this issue.
They seemed to conclude it had something to do with the Adobe servers more than anything else. I can't verify that point but it may have been.
