well first you have to think of this Do you want mac or PC if you want PC I would suggest getting the laptop I have. It a Toshiba Sattlite with a 19 inch screen its like a normal computer just in laptop form lol! Either that or you could spent like 3 to 4000$ on a graphics tablet PC which are really really good!

With mac I dont know you will have to ask wendy on that!

As a Mac user, I use an iBookG4, which I love, but if I had the $$$ it probably would have been the 17" Powerbook, which while a little heavy, is a sweet machine :)

Well, I have a nice little Powerbook 12" (a Mac computer). It's so handy, I can take it every where because it's so small. Battery runs for about 3 to 4 hours (depending on if I make extensive uses like games or DVD watching). It comes standard with bluetooth (for an outside keyboard and mouse or to hook up a cell phone) and wireless network access (perfect to spot a WiFi Internet point).

Delivered with a full suite of software (iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD, etc., several graphic tools such as Art Director Toolkit, Graphics Converter, etc.). Has the possibility of dual display (something like Powerbook + TV, or Powerbook + a second monitor) which can be ran in mirror mode or completement each other. Finally, can be used as a docked computer if you attach a keyboard and mouse, hook it up to a VGA monitor (standard PC thing), close the cover and the computer will act as a desktop.

I know several PC users which got Mac laptop because they wanted something easy on the road. And file exchange between PC and Mac is no longer a problem (JPEG, TIFF, MPEG, MOV, DOC, XLS, PPT, all formats are recognized on both platforms)
