I just found this forum and I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue that has been bothering me for quite some time.
When sorting through my pics in the organizer of PSE 5, I will often right-click and delete a photo that needs to go. The problem occurrs right after my photo is deleted...the organizer always reverts back to showing the first photo in that folder! When sorting through a large number of pics, this becomes highly annoying and inefficient as I must scroll down to try and locate where I was so I can continue on my sort process. I wish it would just let me delete and then skip to the next picture in line. A work-around I've thought of is to make myself a delete tag and just tag all the pics I want to delete, call them all up when I'm done and delete the whole lot all at once. Probably not a bad idea anyway...gives you another chance to view the shots you've chosen to delete.
Another related issue is when looking at photos in the full screen view, you can delete directly from there (although I don't because it takes waaaay toooo long) and it does skip to the next picture. But when you click the X to go back to the organizer view, it doesn't go back to the picture you were just viewing, but back to the beginning of the folder once again.
I'm sorry if these issues have been addressed somewhere before. I did a brief search and didn't find anything. Back when I used PSE 3, I didn't think these problems were happening...maybe I have a bad memory! I'm hoping that there is a real solution, but if not, I'll try my work-around for the first issue.
