Happy Thanksgiving (Monday) to all Canadians and relocated/transplanted Canadians.

As well as Happy Columbus Day to all our southern friends.

Sorry for the early post..gotta cook a turkey tomorrow and not sure how much time I'll have, plus I have to go eat more turkey tonight... a little "liquify filter" here please.

Lol Gary,

thats the way! Photoshop Thanksgiving away!

First the bloat tool for dinners then the pucker tool to tuck it all back away :)

Enjoy!

hrm..wonder if my boss is coming to work tomorrow... I forget Canadian Thanksgiving is different from American.

Just finished an early turkey feast - lots left so I guess we'll be going cold turkey for the rest of the week. This is the one event that we manage to beat the Americans at every year

Ditto here! We already had our little party today, tomorrow is a real day off (...of to get to Photoshop !)

Turkey was huge, and some guests could not attend. Result : turkey sandwich for the rest of the week (yay!!!!!! I love turkey !!)

Well we had our turkey dinner yesterday. It's just easier that way and then today is relaxation and left over day. It turned out to be a good thing since I barbequed it and the weather is not the best today. We spent the morning getting up at 6 a.m. and driving 2 hours to Algonquin Park to hike. 8 km, and today I don't want to move!! I got lots of fabulous pictures but having a husband and 3 teens that think a hike is a bloody marathon is not fun!! I would snap a shot and run to keep up! I got quite a few pictures of my 12 year old son with his hand in front of his face (I told him I would put a face on it for him). My 14 year old had a scowl on her face each time and the only one who did seem okay with her picture being taken was the 16 yr old. I have up and have lots of pictures of leaves, rocks, stumps, and moss instead!

Pauline ...

Kids seem to go throught this stage of not wanting their photographs taken ... still it sounds like you have had a good day :)

I have to make do with imaginary turkey since I'm living in Florida. My family in Ottawa has a photo of my wife, my kids and me that they keep in their dining room so we can "share" in special dinners such as Thanksgiving.

Hope y'all enjoyed your day off.....

Happy Thanks Giving Dave, and these are for you.

I would really miss fall if I lived somewhere that didn't have it. These are from Algonquin Park.

This last photo was taken driving 80 Km down the highway!! Not bad for an 'action' shot.

I had a great time, but would have liked to have had more time to get creative. I have pictures of stumps with holes in them, ground shots, bridgewalk shots. Unusual pictures, not just trees. I liked the colours and the composition of the maple leafs that I took.
