Julie,
I like the 'after' very much, I think that effect works very well on your image :) , it definitely has more edge.
I watched the video today but haven't tried the technique yet.

Thanks, Lisa. I do wish I had a portrait of a craggy-faced man like the one Dave worked with. I hope you'll post your results with it when you've had a chance to try it out...

Nancy,
That is really good. Did you mask the color back into the foliage on the hue/saturation adjustment layer?

Great looking photo's everyone.
Here is my effort on a picture I took the other day. The only change I made to the tutorial was to bring back the red in the barn roof.

Thank You Julie.
I'm going to miss all these great tutorials.
I think Im able to construct a little free action for download.
Ehmm, I don't remember where I got that knowlede but I do remember lots video tuts, including that one :p
Benny,
btw. wonder how Nancys little house, with soft trees would be.
In other words, I think I will try to make an ATN that combine selective
softing (mask), something like Julies in the other thread (the one with a bridge), AND
the hard one by Nancy (good work both Julie and Nancy)...

Great pics everyone. The buildings seem to work really well. Dave's tutorial and your pictures inspired me to give this one a go.
This is a very bad photo (lots of hand shake) of one of my more eccentric friends. Think this technique may have saved the photo:)

Im confused, so will someone please explain this to me like im a 5-year old. I cannot get into any of the tutorials, it does not recognize my username. So i click on "create account" and it asks me if I have a photo gallery...well i thought i did, i loaded a bunch of pics up when i joined this group. But it still does not recognize. So I finally clicked on Subscribe, and i get a screen that says they are not accepting new members...help please.
