Photoshop custom brushes & layer styles

It's probably as plain as the nose on my face, but I can't find the downloads for Nancy's custom brushes. Also I can't find the downloads for Jodie Fry's layer styles. I think Matt M. gives a video on how to download these brushes & styles. If I am confusing you, let me know & I will try to get my story plainer. :). Thanks everybody. Lois

You need to sign into the subscriber area :

then Click on Downloads ...

If you are trying the globe tutorial from V4 #3 they are in the subscriber area under "Extras".
If you scroll down to V4 #3 Jodi's bevels and the cloud brushes are all in a zip file.
It's the picture of the couple.
Hope that is what you were looking for.

Thanks Wendy & Marie. I did find the downloads - they were right under my nose, but didn't realize they were contained in The Globe. I have PSE 6 & tried to install Jodie's layer styles, but it wasn't successful. In the order of: C:\Program data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 6\Photo Creations\special effects\layer styles, I didn't have special effects or layer styles listed in my directory. Do you think in PSE 6 those two would be listed under another name? Thanks. Lois :confused:

I saw on Jody's site that she's not going to make a frames for PSE6 due to the difficulty (I guess adobe plugged some holes again). You can use her frames in PSE 5.

Sorry to say but I think that Jodi has stated that she isn't going to make any Layer Styles for PSE6, so I am assuming that the older ones will not work. I know that there were different ones for PSE5 and then different ones for earlier versions.

Thanks Linda & Douglas for your information. I've been knocking my brains out trying to install Jodies Bevels into my PSE 6 with no luck. So, I can quit trying now and go onto something else. I will probably glean a lot of information from Sara Froehlich when she starts her PSE 6 classes in January. Hopefully there will be other Layer Styles that can be installed on my 6.

What would I all do without all of you on this forum to answer my questions & help with my problems. :) Again, a big thanks to all of you! Lois

Its the frames that no longer work in PSE6 ... the layer styles should work just fine :)

Would it make a difference if I have Vista on my computer? I couldn't seem to install Jodies's Bevel's 3 on my PSE 6. Lois
