Can I create a web gallery from an iPhoto album with PSE3?

Thanks.

Easy!

iPhoto creates a directory for each album. Just browse to ~/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Albums/<albumName> from within the "Create Web Photo Gallery" dialog window.

Thank you. That shouls work just fine, but I was hoping for more integration between iPhoto and PSE3, or at least more than from PSE2. I don't see any differences. In this case, I am thinking of an actual function from PSE3 to do this, and let you pick which album, etc.

Hazmat,

There isn't anything in Elements 3 that will let you do that. http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/ubb/frown.gif

It would have been nice but I don't think that Adobe considered it.

This sounds more like a Keynote or PowerPoint feature. iPhoto will do it, but with limitations. If you have Keynote on your mac, try spending some time in it throughout each week, that way you can customize your presentations, web or otherwise, more significantly.

Another tidbit, if you're the experimental kind, try working with iMovie to present some presentations. Once your finished with your project, save it in a quicktime format, and you can use a small movie file uploaded to the web as your presentation.

And one last tidbit for the experiment presentation type. If you play your own music, or make digital music sometimes, you can use Garageband to record your own music, and then in saving it. Then you can take those files, import them to iMovie and put them in the timing that you want.

So, you can take the photos you've brought in from your digital camera or scanner into iPhoto, and after typing what info you wanted on them, you can import them to iMovie for say a presentation. Then you add music you've created from Garageband. Then, instead of going towards the final DVD movie in iDVD, you just go towards a saved quicktime file to finish up your presentation. If you were keeping your file sizes down, you can then use it as a legit presentation file. And if you know your HTML, you can customize where you want the final file displayed on the web page, and how you want displayed.

Or, you can take your photos that you've loaded into iPhoto and load them into presentations in Keynote or PowerPoint and save them as html files.

Or, you can take your photos and work with them in Dreamweaver.

Or, you can take your photos, edit them all to the same image dimensions in Elements 2 or 3 or PS 7 or PS CS or Fireworks, and create your own Gif animations as presentations for the web.

Or, you can program your own html in TextEdit or Notepad with the images you've uploaded, and create your own presentation via meta tags with old html.

Anyway, there a lot of ways you can do the presentation bit. I hope that was helpful.

Thanks. Simply creating a gallery from the album was what I wanted.
