I have been busy tonight with a very fun creation. I would love to take credit for the idea, but alas, it was from my new book "Surreal Digital photography". It was a lot of fun to do and I thank my daughter's boyfriend for the use of his beautiful eye.

Thanks Joe. It really is a lot of fun. The possibilities are endless. The hardest part is trying to figure out how to get an idea to work, but the more practice, the easier it gets.

I'm in agreement with Gary and Wendy -- it is very well done because it elicits an emotional response. Thanks for sharing.

Pauline-
that's cool 8) ...
Wouldn't that technique make a fun Halloween card or Halloween party invitation?
Who is the surreal book by, might want to check it out.

Thanks everyone. Yes, I know it's kind of freaky, but that is what draws you to it. It's unusual and strange. It would probably look better smaller so the eye wasn't as obvious and then you take a second look and 'what?". Maybe I'll do another one with a different rose with my daughter's eye in it so they can have a matched set.

As Gallagher would say, " Totally New Concept". I like it. My question would be, "What fragrance would a nose percieve?" Reminds me of the hidden security cameras. You never know who's watching. :D

Ah, sorry Wendy!! The two are just inseparable so I thought they would like it. She can keep his eye and he can keep hers. I have often accused him of having some kind of tracking system on her. If we go out somewhere we aren't home more than 10 minutes and he shows up, or he drives by us as we are coming home and turns around and follows us. This way he can really keep his "eye on her". I know he'll love that when I tell him.
