Moving Offline Photos ONLINE

I am using PSE3. I was trying to free up some hard drive space by moving photos offline onto disks. All that was left in my organizer was a PROXY thumbnail image. I did not like working with these images due to the back and forth with the CD's.

I decided to put my master files back ONLINE. I tried to do this by selecting GET PHOTOS FROM FILES; DRIVE E. The end result was now I have the master files back in the organizer AS WELL AS THE PROXY FILES! I only did this with two of five disks and then realized the mess I have.

Question 1) How do I delete these PROXY files from the organizer and hard drive?

Question 2) How do I move offline files back into the organizer without having the proxy remain?
