Okay, I am making a slide show and want to include most all pics in one album, however, two pictures I played with and added some ****y effects, but i still want to include the orginal pic in the slide show. When I click on the edited pic, it will being up the orginal, but I can't find a way to make the orginal visable in the album or slide show. So what ya think, did I start off on the wrong foot in the first place by goofing around with the orginal pic?

Ford - did you keep a separate copy of both the original jpg and the edited version? If so, you will be able to put either or both versions in the slideshow.
If you renamed the edited version over the original you may have to use a Plan B. Hopefully you saved the project file (.PSD), if so your background layer starts as the original image. Always make sure you leave the background layer unchanged and make your changes and effects on duplicated layers. If you make this a practice in your workflow you can always turn off the other layers and still have the original image to work with. Or hopefully you have an archive copy of the original to go back to.
You can put all of the images that you want to use in your slideshow into a separate catalog in the organizer. It is an easy way to rearrange the order of images before importing them into the slideshow.
Good luck and welcome to the forum. BTW you may want to double check spelling - I'm sure you meant "funky";)
