1. Is there an online manual for Photoshop Elements 6

2. With XP once you connect your digital camera it automatically downloads- if you try to bring your pictures over from there you may recieve a message saying there is limited space in your folder(?)- what folder ? And how do you set up a file for each group of photos (and avoid the folder too small message?)

Hi it:

Had the same problem. Now I use PSE5 Files>Get photos>from camera. It will load PSE downloader, turn on you camera or card reader, select it from the dropdown menu and click get photos. Never had a problem since. I also tag my photos and name them right in Organizer. If you don't like the Organizer someone will be along shortly with better advice about that

Hi,

Let me welcome you the Elements Village (EV). This is your one stop shop for all things Photoshop Elements (PSE). It is the friendliest place on the Internet. It is populated with helpful "villagers." As Hank said someone who does not use Organizer would be along and I guess that someone would be me.

I have disabled the downloader in PSE. I use the software that came with my Nikon D70s, PicturePerfect, to transfer the images from my camera into a Windows folder. Since I tag my shots using the EXIF fields in the images themselves, I have scant use for Organizer too.

This works for me. How you use PSE is really up to you.
