I like the change - but I would like to see the foreground lightened up - maybe by using the dodge tool set low so that you can get a feel how it works.

Thanks Bruce for the idea. I have never use that tool so I will give it a whirl

Dales, why don't you select the foreground from the old photo and paste into the new photo. That should save you some time. While still selected you can change if necessary.
