Having Problems getting past "validating media" st

Thx for the help with the last question folks. Now for a new one which pops up just before the burning actually begins. It comes to a stage where it says "validating media" then gives me the "failed to burn" message. I am using music "media". But tried different songs from different sources. Could this be the problem? Any ideas? Thx again.

What are the formats of the music files you are using and how did you acquire them (i.e. download from online store, download from file sharing site, rip from cd etc)?

Some CD burning programs won't work with files that need to acquire a license. For example most tracks I have purchased from an online music store will not burn to cd using HP's Record Now software because of media rights protection. Some of these files only burn to cd in Windows Media Player which obtains and store the license.
