Is there a way to get pictures back on a memory card once they are downloaded to the computer and deleted from the card. We just got one of those digital photo frames and I have some wonderful pictures of my grandchildren that I would love to have on it, but they have already been downloaded and deleted from the card.

I'm using a Canon PowerShot A560 and Canon Rebel

Yes, you can get the pictures back on the card. Simply plug it in via your card reader and it will show up in Windows Explorer as another drive. Then simply copy the pictures you want over to it. Some frames will also take a USB thumb drive which is just as easy.

A card reader would be better than copying them back using the camera. Your camera has its own way of handling files on the cards which may not be compatible with your digital frame.

Carol,
If you have a card reader, you can copy them to the card like you would to an external drive or a different folder. Easiest is to use Windows Copy and Paste.

Thanks Gene and Juergen, the thing I was missing was a card reader. DH got the frame for father's day, but never really fooled with it much. I got it out today and started messing with it and didn't realize it came with a card reader. Just downloaded some photos and it's really neat.

So Gene, just curious, is there actually a way to copy them back without using a card reader, but with the card in the camera?

CArol,
I would not try that even if it does work. You don't want to use your camera for downloading or copying if you can help it.
A card reader is faster, doesn't wear down your batteries and frees up your camera to keep shooting.
No sense wearing out your camera when an inexpensive card reader does a better job.
