Hi guys,
I just received word that The Very Best of Photoshop Elements Techniques DVD is available for purchase for a limited time at 50% off. We only have a limited supply (um, that's actually true – not marketese), but Management wanted me to give our forum members/visitors first dibs on this offer. For more information, check out its product description on the Kelby Training website (http://www.kelbytraining.com/?page=product&id=98).

That looks like a great one - and the newsletter on there too! Do you know what dates the newsletters cover?

Hi Annie,
I filled in an order, and upon completion found it would cost me $12 US to ship to Australia. I cancelled the order. Does the shipping really have to be so expensive for just one dvd? Don't mean to be ungrateful but it is a bit steep.

Does anyone know what is on it? I mean, if I've saved all the videos from the PET site, plus all the videos for the four online courses I took, plus I already have the Retouching DVD by Dave Cross (for renewing my subscription) & Matt's Scrapbooking DVD (IOW prize) do you reckon I've probably got all the bases covered? Will there be anything on this DVD that I've not got???
Bayla
PS. And I've got every single issue of the newsletter.

Bayla,
The description says the 28 top videos from the PET site, plus the last year's worth of newsletters. I'm guessing you don't need it.

To be honest, I'm not as aware of the marketing side of things. And although I put it on my to do list to find out about how else the DVD has been purposed, as well as which issues of the newsletter are included, my list has become unwieldy. I would suggest that you contact Customer Service for answers to these questions. They're very helpful and knowledgeable. :)
Thanks,

I spoke with the DVD Guru (aka Tami) and she informed me (and is updating the link to show) the newsletters are all of the 2006 issues. A great resource for newbies!

Yes it was. I have it and when I get home I will look to see what all it covers. I know it has the back issues of the magizine but I can't remember what else.

Toni,
Here in Canada (our dollar is stronger than USD) it will cost us about $64.00 Canadian to have that shipped here including UPS Shipping & Duty. Your $12.00 cost is cheap.

Hi Bayla,
Here is a screen shot from the Best Of Elements DVD. This will show you the 27 titles (not 28). There are 3 or 4 that are not in the subscription area. The file listed as Brushes 1 & 2 are 2 videos combined into 1 video.
I got this for renewing my subscription to PET last year.

Annie,
I was led to believe that the DVD contains video tutorials from the Subscriber Area and ONLY index for the Newsletters NOT the full content of each Newsletter cited.
Did I understand that correctly? Also, could you confirm the date range for those Subscriber Area video tutorials as well as for the Newsletters (if it is more than just the index).
Thanks.

Is 12.99 the price with 50% of or is it about 10,00?

ATR,
My copy arrived just today. And, looking in the GOODIES folder, I see PET Vol3 1.pdf through PET Vol3 8.pdf - and as I just randomly tried PET Vol3 6.pdf, it is the full version.

Trish,
Thanks for the feedback. I checked before posting and apparently got some misinformation. It seemed odd that they would just be offering an index for each issue of the Newsletter and not the full content of the Newsletter.
When and if you get a chance, I would be interested to know the date periods for the video tutorials and how long it took between ordering and receiving?
I am a procrastinator by nature, so, by the time I decide what to do, the offer will expire.

I ordered it Nov 15, 2007 (or 16) and it arrived today - so about 8-9 business days. I didn't pay for any "faster" shipping.
As far as dates for the videos - I can't tell. I've not been a subscriber, and I'm not sure the dates reflect when they were made. I see some from 11/2006through 3/2007. Usually several with the same date. The image someone posted above with the list of the names is accurate.

Hi all,
I ordered the DVD on 11/17-I was wondering how long it takes for them to ship? I'm surprised it's not here already as it was $6.00 to ship. Normally for $6.00 for a DVD it is Priority.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
