Operating 5 now. Bought 6 today. Best to deinstall 5 before installing 6 and if so will a simple Windows XP deinstall suffice? Would like to do it tonight if possible.

You don't have to uninstall if you don't want. Just make sure your anti-virus is disabled during install.
