What has Adobe done to the Bevel's in PSE 6?

I was making a slide mount in PSE 6 but the Bevel's now have a blurry inner shadow instead of a crisp one!

Can someone hear try and make a slide mount and see if you also get the blurry inner shadow?

Any workaround technique would be appreciated.

Jack,

Hate to ask the obvious, have you played with the settings by clicking on the "f" button on the layer that you applied the bevel?

Edit: Okay, I played myself, and kind of see what you mean. I'll have to bring up 5 and see what the difference is.

Hi Trish,
Yeah, that was my first thought too, open the Layer Style dialog box ans adjust the settings, but to no avail. This really miffs me, why on earth would Adobe do this? I cannot make a simple slide mount in PSE 6. At least not the way I used too.

I may be going back to 5, unfortunately.

It looks as though it has a bit more blur all around. I applied several bevels. You don't notice it too much when they are small, but when you make them large (not that I'm likely to), you really notice it. It almost looked pixel-ly to me.
