When attempting to either attach photos or use the HTML option to send photos through e-mail from within PSE3, I receive an error message informing me that the program "could not finish creating" the message and to "make sure MS Outlook [which is my email program] is selected as the default e-mail program." As far as I can tell, from both the Internet Options choices and from within Outlook, it is selected as the default program. How do I fix this problem?
BTW, I realize I can manually resize the photos and attach them the old fashioned way, but I would like the convenience of have PSE3 do it automatically.
Thanks. Dusty

Dusty:
Another way to share photos online from Elements 3 is to use the Share Online selection under the Share icon in the Organizer.
When you Share Online, your images get uploaded to Adobe Photoshop Services web site, and then a small eMail is sent to the folks you want to share with. The eMail contains a link back to the site with your images.
It works great, and is much better than sending a bunch of big eMails to all your friends.

Dusty,
Most of us still do it the old fashioned way :) ...

This is interesting and helpful. Thanks. But, I'm still interested in how to resolve the apparent error that is preventing me from using this function. Can anyone help with that?
Thanks again. Dusty

Dusty,
Your problem maybe similiar to another post on updating PE3...
Do you have a firewall installed on your PC? If so, depending on which software you have, programs installed on your PC need permissions to access the internet and to send email.
I have Zone Alarm Pro, which will (supposedly) automatically grant permission for (or block) individual programs to access the internet or send email from within the program itself. I have found that sometimes it gets it wrong and blocks the program, so I've had to go in and alter the settings.
Let me know.

Thanks, Mike. I'm actually away from the computer at issue for several days. But I'll try your suggestion when I return.
