Corey Backer,
Thanks for this video tutorial. This Photo EMail feature is amazingly the same as what I have in Photoshop Elements 3. The version 6 feature works fine with one exception.
The exception is:
When I hit the icon to open the Contact Book, the entire computer freezes. If I avoid doing that, everything works great. Did you run into any problems like that in preparing the video, and, if so, how did you resolve it?
Thanks.

Hmmm... Don't know. I didn't really have any issues before. Are you trying it from inside the Editor or from inside the Organizer?

Thanks for the feedback.
Backdrop: Have Photoshop Elements 3, did not uninstall, just downloaded tryout Photoshop Elements 6 to same computer with no immediate compatibility or conflict issues.
Matter at hand: I have tried this both routes with the same crashing results.
However, I think that I have hit on the core of the problem which I believe to involve auto upgrading from my Photoshop Elements 3 to the tryout Photoshop Elements 6 with regard to this Contact Book issue. (Both these 3 and 6 versions are installed on the same computer, but using one at a time.)
What resolved this issue for me was going back to Photoshop Elements 3 and setting up at new Photo EMail Contact Book with Photoshop Elements 6 still installed on the same computer. Now the same information is shared with the Contact Books of both versions and no computer freeze up hitting the icon to open the 6 version Photo EMail Contact Book.
Your comments got me on the road to further explorations. Thank you.

I have a question about the Tutorial.
In the tutorial he said that Elements brings up your "default Mail application".
Is this really correct? I ask this because it looks to me like it only works with Outlook, Outlook Express and the Adobe Email Service.
If it CAN work with your default email program (I use Thunderbird), how do you set it up to do so?
Thanks!

ATR,
Sometimes the contacts.xml file doesn't work when you upgrade. You can recreate, like you did, or delete it and have PSE 6.0 recreate it.

I had the same problem with the contacts and I renamed the contacts.xml old and restarted the organizer and it worked fine. I use Outlook express and I had to put a check by it and it loaded my address book very quickly.

I just came across this Adobe TechNote titled:
"Freeze occurs when you access the Photoshop Elements 6.0 Contact Book"

Hope that it will be of interest.

That problem was mentioned in this thread (http://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34313). Take a peek and see if any of the posts help :)
