I was playing around with the creative homework this week, but it wasn't giving me what I was looking for in an "oil painting". I took a still life photo today and played around with it for a while. This is what I came up with, but I haven't given up yet. I am waiting for my CS3 to come so I can play around on that playground! (Well, PSE is more of a playground...CS3 is more, well, DISNEYLAND!)

Wow, Reka! Seems like you are having lots of fun. I think what you did in the "playground" looks great. I can't even imagine what the "Disneyland" version will look like. Do post after you have played some more!

Thanks!

I would like to work on it more. For me, an oil painting always has more texture than was created by the homework lesson. But who knows if I did it right?:) This technique gives a bit more depth to the painting. Here's a link to a larger "After" image. I won't try posting a small double image like that first one again...you just don't see much.:(

Sela, I don't trust myself to go on all of the rides at Disneyland either. We'll see how scary the virtual Disneyland can be! ;)
