Suzi: I think this image (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/view_img.php?id=27211) is absolutely fantastic. I love the pose, the tone, the shadow, the tilt. To me, the image stands on it's own - no frame needed...

You're welcome! Do you mind sharing the story behind the picture? It is very intriguing...

I was in San Francisco the other day climbing this huge hill to get to Lombard st. Saw him standing on the other side of the street. Just couldn't resist taking the picture. After I downloaded on to computer and looked at it, I loved it. Wish I could say it was a planned shot just one of those lucky pictures.

I was just looking at it. It is fantastic!! :D

I am so envious that you just walked into it. It still takes a great photographer to capture that kind of image.

I have to agree with everyone else... great photo. Love the way you can't see his eyes and the ambient light is perfect. This should end up on the IOW page. I wish I could do people that well. I try to take my camera with me as much as possible. It's those "lucky pictures" that always turn out best.

Thank you so much Robyn, Kimi and Gary. Had a great day in San Francisco, took over 400 pictures and in the process of going through them. I will most likely bore you all to tears with them.

"Shoot everything in sight and sort them out later." That's my digital philosophy.

Got to ask... what camera and lens did you use for this photo? Sorry...it's just a guy thing. That's what we do... :D

I used the canon digital rebel xt with either a 28/105 or the 70/300 canon lens. I was swapping them out so often not sure which one. And that is me I took pictures of everything in sight. It is not just a guy thing, I love to know that stuff too.

Suzi, the photo is fabulous the way it is. I think a frame would take away the effectiveness of it. My vote, no frame.
