This one where I applied a Buzz filter to the photo then made it into a sketch. I think it looks more like a painting.
Critique welcomed.
The method I used is Here (http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/forum/showpost.php?p=322917&postcount=1).

Kev, The before & after are equally beautiful. I love the very rich colors.

I really like them both, but the texture you used on the right one does make it look like a painting - I agree. Good job, as always.

Linda, Suzanne,
thanks.
After reading Matt's update about the forum I don't think I'll be posting anything else. I'll be a lurcher until this wonderful forum is discarded.

Carol,
pleased you like it.
Hearing the good news from Jane has cheered me up. Why should I let things get me down? I'm off now to post a new montage, what else?!

Kev,
Good for you. Don't let them get to you. We can still enjoy ourselves:)
Lovely before and after. (I always love the way you combine them!:)) I'm off to take a look at the tutorial right now.

I'm so glad you're not going to lurk! I learn such a lot from you.
I love the waxwings, especially the sketch.
Excuse my ignorance, but what is a Buzz filter?

Hang in Kev don't let it all get you down..
You can buy a house but you have to make/ build a Home.
The new house will not look like the old house , but it won't take long for us lot to make it into a HOME.
Thank you Kev for all the personal help that you have given me & your generosity to this Forum.

Ann,
pleased you like it.
Buzz is a plug in filter that creates a painted effect. I believe it's quite pricey,
I was lucky and got mine as a freebie.
