A great place to reflect; so much to see.

Ron, beautiful shot. I love all the colors and the reflection on the calm water is so clear.

Ron, your photos are always so crisp and sharp. Are they straight out of the camera or do you enhance them in some way?

I use Sharpen occasionally, but whenever possible, use a good tripod. I am also experimenting with a Nikon 70-300 VR lens.
Hope that helps - a tripod makes a world of difference.

Rachel,
I like it a lot because it has a 2-3 f stop improvement over a non VR lens. It's a great lens for wildlife photography, where using a tripod is impractical.
The only downside is that it weighs quite a bit more than a comparible non VR lens; so I recommend that you try it out before buying it.
