Hi folks, nothing to do with Elements but a DEAR Friend needs a pattern to knit a poncho for a toddler. Does anyone knit and have a pattern or know where to get a free one online.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Kim. I send your friend over to Lion Brand Yarns (http://www.lionbrand.com). They have lots of free knitting and crocheting patterns. If I remember right I think I just had to register on the website.

Kim, I knit every winter! I always pick up the freeby patterns at Walmart and Michael's, in the yarn section. I may have one, I will take a look and get back with you.

I don't have a knit one but I do have a crochet one, it's a Lily Sugar & Cream pattern. I've never done it so can't say how easy or hard it is although it does say "easy".
PM me if you want the pdf :D

Thanks for the quick responses. I also got a couple from someone at DDD and passed on and the DEAR Friend was happy. I am sure your suggestions will be checked as well as the DF is a member here and the search was for his dear wife. They are grateful for the help.
