CPU requirments?

The minimum requirements for running Premiere Elements 2.0 is as follows:

Intel® Pentium® 4, M, D, Extreme Edition or AMD Opteron or Athlon 64 (CPU must support SSE2)

Could someone tell me what "SSE2" is and how do I find out if my CPU supports it?

I've the new AMD 64 and I just might purchase this upgrade if SSE2 is in my system somewhere.

Streaming SIMD Extensions 2 (SSE2) extends the MMX™ technology and SSE technology with the addition of 144 instructions that deliver performance increases across a broad range of applications.
