There is really some nice stuff in the latest Newsletter. I finally, today, found time to try this tutorial by Rich Harris. I like it a lot -- really fast.

The original was a bit flat in mid-tones 'cause I exposed for the sky. I probably could have improved the shot using a polarizing filter.
The only thing I don't like about this technique is the resulting flat sky. I used the magic wand to go back to the BG Layer and select the sky - dragged that up to the top of the layer stack.
