I posted some new "digital" watercolors in my gallery. Started out with fdlite's instructions and just kept playing. I was going for a "not quite finished" look.

You did such a great job on these two photos. My attempts at the watercolor technique are, on the whole, nothing spectacular. One turned out pretty well.
You have such a neat gallery! The racing poster is so cool!

Thank you all for your kind words. I've really been working hard to perfect my watercolor technique. It's seems to be a little bit different for each photo.

I like how the effect turned out. I also like "Remembering the past". How did you achieve the effect on this one?

Thank you for the compliment on my watercolors, Christell. I haven't forgotten that I'm supposed to write a tutorial for "Remembering the Past" ;)
My life's been a bit crazy lately. My mother passed away recently and I've been helping my Dad get some things squared away but I PROMISE I'll get it done. The completed tutorial will be posted on my digital scrapbooking site but I'll definitely let you know when it's done. Yours is not the only request I've had for it.

Sorry to hear about your mother's passing away. Your dad will need all your support now.My prayers are with your family. Can you also post it on our new forum tutorial site. It would be very appreciated.
Thanks,
Christell

Unfortunately, posting it there would be a violation of the few simple rules and I've already had complaints about me posting links to a "commercial" site. I'll definitely send you an invitation (and all those who have expressed an interest in learning it) to view it when it comes online. Just doin' the best I can to comply :o
