Slow, Slow, Slow

Elements has been running incredibly SLOW on my computer. I went in and cleanup some files, compressed, etc. but it didn't seem to help. I was wondering what the cause could be. If I moved all my pictures to an external hard drive would that hel? Thank you

If you could give information about the type of computer you have (PC or MAC) and what size RAM you have it would be a good starting point to give you some help.

Slow systems are a very popular subject here, so you might start by searching the site for threads with the word 'slow' in the search, you would find a wealth of information.

...and what percentage of your hard drive is free, and have you cleaned our your temp/cookies folders and defragmented the HD lately... :)

Emptying the recycle bin seems to make a difference for me -- as well as moving pics to an external drive and defragging the C drive.
