I am currently using XP to run PSE5.0 and do not want to upgrade right now to 6.0. I am looking at purchasing a laptop, however, it only comes with Vista. Has anyone had any troubles with 1) installing PSE5.0 to Vista and 2) using PSE5.0 in Vista?
I plan to continue to use my desktop with XP also. My version of PSE5.0 says it's for XP, do I need a patch to install to Vista?

Hi, I am not using Vista but I also don't recall anyone having troubles. Yes there is a patch at Adobe's site for running v5 with Vista. I use to have it bookmarked but can't find it. Lost some when I swithced to Firefox.

Hi PB,
5.0 with the patch works fine with Vista. I have been using that combo since the beginning of the year.
Cheers,

I have been using Vista and PSE5 since the spring and not had any problems with using all the functions or installing any new plugins that I have come across. Some of my ther programs don't fair well with vista but the adobe products seem to work flawlessly.
