Gremlins are back again

I used PSE 5 early today and all was well. This evening It has gone whacky. I have nothing or nothing shows up in the art works and effects pallet. I have done the rest the pref trick and that did not do anything for me. the whole darn thing is whacked out. I closed and did a restart and that did not help either. Anyone have any ideas as to what is up with this? :twisted:

If I have to reinstall PSE 5 will I lose all of my brushes and fonts and plugins that I have now? Can I just move them to another folder to save them?

Hi Tina ...

Try this:

Restart Elements and hold down the Shift key whilst you are starting it up (keep on holding it down) ... that should force a rebuild of the Artwork & Effects :)

Wendy you are SO SMART! I am also writing that down for the future, which I am sure will be helpful someday (as long as I can remember where I write it ;)) I am also happy for Tina, she won't have to wear that WIG!

I am glad Wendy helped me out too, I could not decide if I would be a blond or a brunett!! She saved me the agony of trying to make up my mind and now I am just my old gray white hair that I have been for the last few years. The hair I pulled out will for sure come back in white! At least I am not bald yet !
