Will the Adobe watermark disappear from the video I just made if I purchase the program or will I have to redo the project?

Thanks!

Elise,

That watermark will continue to be there on the projects that you have completed with the trial version of Premiere Elements, but will not be on any project completed on the purchased version.

In general, watermarks are essentially impossible to remove. Trying to crop it out with the program will not do it.

You could try editing the trial version saved project with the purchased version and see what happens. But I suspect that you may lose something along the way.

Elise,

I suggest that you look at this thread over on the Adobe forum - do be sure to click on the Show All Messages so you see the entire discussion.

As I understand it - after you purchase and install, then once you delete the files discussed in that thread, you will be able to use the work of your current project and create a new output without the watermark.

Elise,

Thanks to BarbO, we have a possible how to link for doing what I suggested, namely, trying to edit the tryout version project with its watermark using the the purchased version.

As you know, I have the tryout Premiere Elements 4 with all projects containing the watermark. At this point, I am not sure if I will upgrade. So, I may not get the chance to check out this how to. If you get to it before I do, please let us know if it does the job?

Thanks.
