Looks like the server went and jumped back to standard time. I figure congress' idea of delaying standard time for another week is just another lame attempt on their part to try and keep us all in the dark.

Hibe, I w/you. Most of my programed programs that I like to watch are not recording. The DVD recorder that I have programed to record automatically rolled back an hour. I forgot until this morning about the automatic timer being set to change this past Saturday.

I was wondering why my DVD player changed time!

Jancy, now you know. I have to dig out my manual to reset the clock. Reminds me of my parents when VCRs first came out.

Glad to see this thread. I thought I missed something this morning since DH over slept. I jumped out of bed yelling "Oh no we forgot to change the clocks this weekend." Then I realized none of the ones set to change automatically did. So DH was just too sleepy and turned off his alarm and went back to sleep.:D

Forgot to mention this kills my Halloween fun. I always put on my Shaggy Camo outfit and hide neck to the driveway and scare the Trick or Treaters. Those of you who follow the Savangere Hunt thread for seen this if you have looked closely at the Costume image I posted last week.

Kim, I saw your halloween picture and thought it was too cool. My clocks that were programed by the manufacturer to change automatically did change along w/my DVD recorder. I wish they had just left the time change alone.

They did the same thing a few of years ago. The next year they didn't and when the parents with their kids were Trick or Treating all said they missed my camo. They brought friends to my house just so I could scare them. The parents always get more freaked by it then the kids. It really is fun. But this year again will be too light outside to get away with it. My son and his friend wanted to do it this year for me. They said 7th graders are too old to Trick or Treat but they still want to have fun. They think they can get away with it anyway.:D I have always just sat in the leaves like in the photo and have a black voice changing megaphone that I would say something through just as the kids got to me. It is really funny how many of them actually proceeded to walk away and still head for the front door for their candy even though I was holding a basket full of it.

Hibe, I use to always use the name "AngelicBrat" when online. Probably a more fitting name for me but for some reason I stopped using it about a year and a half ago. After finding this site and subscribing I wished I had used the AngelicBrat.:D:D:twisted:

My router went bad Saturday morning so I had to purchase new one. When setting it up I discovered it had me choose the month and week that daylight savings time started and ended. It assumed that it would always be Sunday. A sign of the times. I can live with my VCR being off an hour for a week:).

Our VCR pulls the time off the cable. And, most of the clocks in our house get the time from the clock in Boulder (atomic clocks), so don't have to reset most of them. Having an atomic clock for your alarm clock is the way to go - it does it automatically. Saw Sam's Club had one for $27 this weekend.

I really like the atomic clock idea. My watch sets that way and I have a couple clocks at home. I work about three miles from home and the clocks at home set every night. The one at work never resets and it is not the building but is at the Hillsboro Airport. I went back to visit my family in Detroit and my watch never once synched up with the Atomic clock. My brother said he had had a alarm that was set by the atomic clock but had the same issue. Notice he had it, I guess he overslept once too often.

Sorry Trish, but I just can't get the image of a mushroom cloud or at the very least a one sided sunburn associated with a wake up call from an "atomic clock". I'm just in one of those moods today...:D
