Steven -
I haven't seen one of those in ages. I had one that had miscreant tendancies and actually drank my beer.... at least that what I think was happening to the beer.;)

Steven and Bill,
I'm going to be really dumb now and ask what it is.
I like this game though, good idea :)

I just called them Drinking Birds, but I don't know what they are officially called. They are very entertaining, and if you keep their glass full they go on until their heads rot out.
I used to have two of them Gary, but I must have given one away. Sorry about that!

Do a google search for drinking birds and that's what you get, even a youtube video!

Ha! I just watched that very entertaining video Kim. They are much more exciting in real life.

Steven,
I should have known what it was without peeking... mine had red innards.

Presumably we are all keeping score for ourselves ;)
I've only got 2 right so far :o - Bill's blender and Tony's toothbrush - ah ha is there something hidden going on here? I mean should the object also have the same initial as its owner????
I didn't get the toothpicks Suzanne and I thought Kim's phone might be an alarm clock

Rusty, I thought it was a roll of toilet tissue. Kim R., I thought it was a cordless mouse, upside down. Lisa,I didn't get the pepper mill. I though it was a cog of some kind. BillZ, I got the blender, Steven, I definitely didn't get the drinking bird, Byron, I really didn't get the spool of fishing line either. This is great fun!

Byron, I sure didn't guess a Lego. I should have known. I stepped on these in my bare feet a hundred times when my boys were little.

Suzanne,
These block are very similar to Lego, but they are fairly big... the one in my picture is about 5 inches long. Our grandkids just love to dump the bag of them into the middle of the floor and start assembling all sorts of fantastic things!

And I thought you had a REALLY, REALLY, super-duper close-up lens.

Well it looks like everyone had some fun with this week's theme.
Steven - Thanks for jumpstarting us with the drinking bird. A fun shot as always.
Kim R - That's a very cleverly misleading angle ... which I guess was the point:D
Lisa - On top of being a wonderful theme entry, it's really a very pretty shot!
Suzanne - Your shot make it look more like a lumber yard than little toothpicks. I like the swirled design too!
Tony - Good toothbrush entry .... and again a fun image to look at, but the second one was grate!!
Rusty - I wouldn't have guessed it. Wonderful theme interpretation. You deserve custard!
Byron - Maybe in a million years I would have figured out the building block, but I'd be well into the second million years before I got a spool of filament!
Ellen - Good entry and fun subject matter. Looks like I need one of those.
Bamagirl - Pumpkey?? Turkin?? Fun shot!!
Kim2900 - Looks like somebody needs cranberries!
Maria - This is another one I would have looked at for a looooong time and still not figured out. Nice entry!!
Gary???? .... and hopefully some others too!

Well I guessed right on almost half. I think Bamagirl's (Glenda?) and Byron's were the trickiest.
Another fun one, thanks Bill.

Thank you, Bill! :)
This photo theme was very-very interesting - it was fun trying to guess the object in each entry! :D

Bill,
I always enjoy reading your comments... thanks!
Ellen,
I wasn't necessarily aiming to be "most puzzling", but I did try to pick non-standard subjects. ;)
