Thank you, Charles, for this...it made me tear up. My stepdad was a Los Angeles Fire Department captain. I wish he could have seen this video. He would have been proud, just as I was proud of him. He is no longer with us physically, but his spirit is always with me.

Firefighters don't do the job becuase we look for praise. We just enjoy the work and the chance to help others.

Remember...get a job you enjoy and you will never have to work another day in your life. Everyday is a chance to to do what you enjoy in life.

Ron, A good many years ago I read while on a flight to LA (business) that some thing like 95%+ employed people did not enjoy or like their job. So those few who enjoy their line of work are truly fortunate. I was fortunate.
