I am a new Photoshop 6 owner, but I have used variations of Photoshop in past years "lightly". I have the PSE6/PE4 package and I am trying to create a slide show to place in PE4. In doing this, I have about 200 pictures that I am trying to do a "quick touchup" so they look good in the slide show.

I have all of the pictures in the orginizer and I have clicked on this FIX tab;which gives me my options of fixing the photos without opening the editor. Howver, I have noticed that the Auto Color is nowhere near effective on the Fix Menu as if I simply chose Auto Color from the Quick Fix Editor screen. Is this not the same command? What am I doing wrong?

I would rather not touch ever single photo with the editor as I am not drastically changing the pictures; only touchin up. I also and doing this for a large number and I want to get it done rather quickly. Any advice/tips?

Thanks.

Probably not. Organizer and Editor are different programs that do not always do the same procedures. In this case, you should use the Editor first. Go to >File >Process Multiple Files and check Auto Color. Then use the output files for your slide show. This is how it works in PSE5, I assume it will be the same in PSE6.

This worked perfectly for me and was exactly what I was looking for; thank you very much. I did not realize that the organizer did not use "Photoshop Tools" to make the requested edits. I just assumed that the different products were integrated.

Now I know and thanks for helping.
